Formed
in 1972 as the local PHAB Club to promote its aims in the areas covered by Watford,
Three Rivers and Hertsmere Councils.
Originally the club met in Bushey but then moved to Cassio Campus Youth Wing,
Langley Road, and now meets at CENTRE POINT community centre, RAPHAEL road (off
Radlett road) Watford every wednesdays 7pm to 9pm.
PHAB being a Social Organization is organized around club nights where the members
can get together, enjoy themselves and plan their act ivities
and events.
Since 1995, Bushey and Watford PHAB Club has been registered as a non-profit making
Charity.

PHAB
(PHysically
disabled and ABle bodied ) was formed in 1957 as part of the British Association
of Youth Clubs when a disabled member said I want "opportunity not pity", before
evolving into a national organization in its own right.
The
organization now includes over 600 local clubs split into England, Scotland, Northern
Island and Wales. England is split into four regions and a county area committees.
